Brandon at Flowers 4 is an absolute dreamboat and the nicest guy to work with. He loves to make anything and everything and has such a great eye. He created the looks for a recent shoot and I was so blown away with how good they were. Brandon is based in Worthing.
The Floral Artisan
Lucy - the Floral Artisan did our wedding flowers that were absolutely breathtaking including a gorgeous floral hoop that got a lot of use from us and our guest for photo opportunities. I highly recommend her. Lucy is based in Chichester.
The Flower Stand
A Hove staple, this florist has been here as long as I can remember and never disappoints. Fresh displays daily they cater from just a bunch to a whole event creating breathtaking results every time.
mode have recently moved to their new location just by Hove station and are a small, but perfectly formed bridal boutique. They have a great range of modern dresses and do a killer sample sale too. The lovey Amy (not me!) is always on hand to help with any questions you might have.
Based in Worthing are absolutely great! This is where after many different shops, I found mine. They are amazing and don't just have a size six as their samples so you can actually try things on. Margaret is an absolute gem and will make your dress fit like a dream.
I have been eyeing up these beautiful dresses for many many years and have always loved their beautiful fairytale designs. Just make sure if you are ordering you get your measurements right as they are not based in the UK.
Lucy Can't Dance
Lucy Can’t Dance specialises in alternative wedding dresses for non-traditional brides.
Experimenting with laces and colour techniques to give you an exciting, elegant and unique wedding dress designs.
This is where I got married myself and I cannot speak higher of the team here and how much they went out of their way for us. The perfect venue as it doesn't matter if its rain or shine there's plenty of space for everyone and it doesn't affect your day. Plus as a bonus they have Alpacas!
Another absolutely beautiful barn venue all in one place, so perfect if you want to keep things simple. Just bear in mind the local taxis in this area are not cheap and try to check if there's anything on at Goodwood before booking as this will make the hotels book up and your guests will get stuck. Same for Southend Barns.
Pubs, Bars and Restaurants Near to Brighton Registrar Office.
I work with a lot of couples who just want to do something low key with their nearest and dearest so if that's you but you aren't sure where to book afterwards I have a bit of a guide for you depending on any budget and size of group.
Food For Friends
As a weird vegan type I adore this place, they only sell veggie or vegan options but of a very high standard.
They have been going since 1981 and can cater for small or larger parties but you must pre book to get in!
The Ivy, Brighton
The Ivy is a photographers dream as the aesthetic is to die for! From the flower wall as you enter to the toilets that are straight out from the pages of Vogue.
Hotel Du Vin
A very popular choice for my Covid weddings. They are well equipped to deal with small wedding parties and keeping it special. The food is gorgeous and the surroundings are too. If you have your reception here and stay the night they’ll also gift you a bottle of champagne.
