Jessica and Declan asked me to come along and shoot their wedding for them at the beautiful Brookfield Barn in Horsham. It was a very hot and humid day but filled with so much love and laughter. Jessica looked stunning and was one of the calmest brides I have ever met. She had been so organised all the way through planning and I think that really helped her on the day. They booked my standard package so I arrived just before the ceremony. The ceremony was just breathtaking as we did it outdoors in their secret garden overlooking the lake with the ducks and swans gliding by to see what was happening.
We then went to the grounds of the nearby golf course to do some portraits which was a highlight for me as I got to drive the golf buggy!
They had a fun carver for their meal that let their guests get involved in the action and someone from each table went up and was the chef for the duration of the wedding breakfast.
Jessica and Declan's wedding was an absolute joy to capture. The day was filled with laughter, dancing and celebrating! It was such an honour to capture their big day and the beautiful couple who were so down to earth and easy going.
